Birdz is a group of Zurich-based artists collectively working as dj's and producers of electronic music. As a result of many years of friendship, the founding of this collective is their first joint project.

In Spring of 2009, Benja and Meikel initiated the development of the label-concept together with all the members of Birdz. The general idea behind the label is to create a plattform for the realisation of common ideas and production of individual music. Every Birdz member is supported by the label, while remaining free to express himslef as an indepndent artist.

At the moment, Birdz organises events and supports its artists. Future plans include starting a record-label of their own.
